Crypto and blockchain technology are still in their infancy. Therefore, it is extremely difficult for cryptocurrency exchanges to be regulated and got licenses from governments around the world. A cryptocurrency trading platform in Thailand, however, has been successful. It is BitKub, managed by CEO Topp Jirayut Srupsrisopa.

In Thailand Blockchain Week 2019 which took place from November 28 to December 3, 2019, BlockACE Vietnam had the opportunity to interview with this CEO. In the interview, with his open-minded attitude and intelligence, he mentioned the difficulties that must be experienced before achieving the current success, the development strategy of BitKub, as well as his forecast of the blockchain and cryptocurrency market in 2020.

Topp has dedicated the majority of his career in the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology industry. He co-founded coins.co.th, Thailand’s largest bitcoin exchange. Before Blockchain emerged, Topp worked as an investment banker, financial consultant, and central banker. He is a speaker and one of Thailand’s leading bitcoin and open blockchain experts. He holds an MPhil in Economics from Oxford University, UK. Now he is the co-founder and group CEO at Bitkub Capital Group Holdings Co., Ltd. (BCGH), a company that holds the title as the startup with the largest seed investment in Thai history. He is also a board member at the Thailand Fintech Association.

BlockACE, with the special permission of Mr. Topp Jirayut Srupsrisopa, had an interview with many questions about the difficulties in registering an exchange, the upcoming development plans of BitKub, the markets that BitKub plans to develop, and cryptocurrency market trends in 2020.
